We are located in Flat 3B at 174/21 N.S.C. Bose Road here in Kolkata. Being in an apartment-style office makes things feel a bit more personal, though it gets crowded when the whole team is in for a meeting. We mostly use this space to manage the administrative side of our infrastructure projects. There are always binders full of permits and schedules sitting around. On any given Tuesday, you’ll hear us debating the best way to handle a logistics problem or chatting with vendors. N.S.C. Bose Road is a busy part of town, so there is always noise from outside, but we’ve gotten used to it. We aren't big on corporate talk or anything like that. We just talk like normal people trying to solve problems. The kitchen usually has some snacks and there’s always someone complaining about the traffic. It’s a tight-knit group and we know our roles well. We don’t have a flashy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. It’s just us, some desks, and a lot of work to do. Sometimes the internet is slow or the air conditioning struggles with the Kolkata heat, but we make it work. We’ve been part of the local scene for a while and we know the neighborhood. It’s a straightforward setup for a straightforward job. We just want to make sure the projects stay on track and the bills get paid. That’s our reality every single day at the office, just getting by and doing what needs doing.
