Our office is located at 23/1 Padmapukur Road in Fingapara. It is an old place with a lot of history. This company, Rajmahal Quartz Sand & Kaolin Co.Ltd., was started by Late N.G. Majumder a long time ago. He was a learned man, M.A., B.L., and we still try to run things the way he would have wanted. We deal with quartz sand and kaolin. It is not a glamorous business, but it is important for many industries. Kankinara is where we are based, out in the 24 Parganas district. Most of the people working here have been around for a long time. We know the materials we handle very well. We do not have a fancy website or a marketing department. We just answer the phone and talk to our customers. Sometimes the logistics of moving sand can be a real headache, especially with the roads around here. But we manage. We are not trying to change the world, we are just providing raw materials that people need. The building on Padmapukur Road is where all the paperwork happens. It is quiet there most days. We prefer it that way. If you need to talk about an order, you can just stop by. There is usually someone there to have a cup of tea and discuss the details. We do things the old-fashioned way and hope it stays that way.
