Rajda Industries & Exports Ltd

Our office is up on the 17th floor of the Chatterjee International Centre. It's right there at 33-A, J L Nehru Road. It’s a tall building, and sometimes waiting for the lift takes longer than the actual work we do. We’ve got a view of the street below, which is always packed with cars and people moving around. We deal with industries and exports, which sounds a bit more complicated than it actually feels when you're sitting at the desk. Most of our time is spent looking at lists and making sure things are going where they are supposed to go. It’s a lot of coordination. The air conditioning in the building is a bit temperamental, so some days are colder than others. We have a small corner for our files and a couple of computers that have seen better days. It's a professional building, but our office feels a bit more lived-in. We don’t have any fancy decorations on the walls. Just some calendars and maybe a few notes taped up. The team here is small. We’ve been in this spot for a while, so we’ve gotten used to the commute. J L Nehru Road is always a mess during rush hour, but that’s just how it is in this part of the city. We don't try to be anything we're not. We just handle the business side of things and try to keep everything moving. There’s usually a stack of mail waiting every morning.
