We are set up in Tower 7 of the Horizons building in Uniword City. It is a big name for a place that is basically just our second home. Being in Action Area-III of New Town means we have seen this whole part of the city rise from the ground over the last few years. Our office is at Unit No 001 and 002 which is right on the ground floor. This makes it very easy for people to find us without getting lost in the elevators. Bengal Unitech Universal Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. sounds like a mouthful but we are just a group of people working on buildings and roads. The Main Arterial Road is always humming with traffic right outside our window. Inside we are usually buried in blueprints or talking on the phone with various site managers. It is a lot of back-and-forth communication. Sometimes the air conditioning feels too cold and someone is always looking for a pen that actually works. We don't do the whole corporate polish thing very well here. Our walls have maps pinned up and there are stacks of files that probably need filing. We moved here because New Town is where everything is happening but we try to stay grounded. We know the security guards and the folks at the tea stall nearby. It is a real community and we just do our part.
