We are located at 156, P.G.H. Shah Road in the Jadavpur area of Kolkata. It's a busy street and there is always something going on outside our door, from street food sellers to the usual traffic. Rahul Cargo Pvt. Ltd. has been here for years. We aren't a massive company with hundreds of employees or a big HR department. We are just a local team that handles cargo and shipping. Moving things through the streets of Kolkata can be a real challenge, especially when it rains heavily or during the major festivals. We have to plan our routes carefully so we don't get stuck for hours. Our office is a bit old-fashioned, maybe a little dusty. We still use a lot of paper and ledgers to keep track of everything. We don't have any polished slogans or marketing speak. We just talk to the drivers and make sure the goods are loaded properly. Sometimes we have a lot of work and everyone is rushing around, and other days it's a bit slower and we just sit and talk. We like being in Jadavpur because it’s a lively neighborhood. We know the tea seller on the corner and the other shop owners nearby. If you need something moved, we just tell you how it is and what it will cost. We don't believe in making things sound better than they are. It’s hard work, but we’ve been doing it long enough to know the ropes.
