Rabindra Printing House

We are right on Rabindra Sarani, specifically at 362A. It’s a very busy part of the city, especially being so close to the Chitpur Beadon Street crossing. Company Bagan is right there beside us too. Being in this old part of town means there is always noise outside—horns honking and people shouting. Inside the printing house, it’s a different kind of noise. The presses make a steady rhythm that you just get used to after a while. We’ve been at this for quite some time. The building itself is old, with high ceilings and walls that have seen better days. We do all sorts of printing here. It’s mostly ink on paper, the traditional way. We don't have much space for anything extra, so every corner is stacked with boxes of paper or cans of ink. Sometimes it feels like a maze getting from the front door to the back where the heavy machines sit. We aren't a high-tech lab. We are a bunch of people who know how to handle paper and ink. My hands are usually stained with something by lunchtime. We don't really have a website or anything like that; people usually just find us because they’re walking by or someone told them where we are. It’s a simple way of doing things, and it’s been working for us so far. We just keep our heads down and finish the stacks.
