Our place is located in HMP House, which is a fairly well-known building on Fairlie Place. We are up on the 5th floor at number 4. It’s an old building with a lot of history, and the stairs can be a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up again. Downstairs, the street is always packed with people and vendors. We run our import and export business from here, mostly dealing with a mix of different goods. It is a small operation, really. Just Rabina and Raj and a couple of others helping out with the paperwork. The desks are usually covered in forms and shipping manifests because there is always something needing to be signed or stamped. We don't have any big signs or flashy displays. It is just a practical office where we get the job done. The view from the 5th floor isn't much, just the roofs of other old buildings and the busy street below. We spend a lot of time talking to traders and trying to figure out the best way to move things from one port to another. It can be stressful when a shipment is delayed, but we have been doing this long enough to not let it get to us too much. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with the day-to-day tasks. It's a bit cramped in here but it works for us.
