R. P. Patodia & Co

Down at 1/1, Gourlaha Street, that’s where you’ll find R. P. Patodia & Co. It’s a small place, nothing too flashy, but it works for us. We’ve been operating out of this spot for quite some time now. The street isn't the widest, so getting things in and out can be a bit of a struggle if a truck gets stuck, but we manage. We handle a lot of different things here, mostly paperwork and coordinating with our partners. It’s the kind of business that relies on knowing people and having good relationships. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world, just trying to do right by the people who work with us. Sometimes the office gets a bit messy with files piled up on the desks, especially at the end of the month. Everyone here pretty much knows everyone else’s business, which is just how it goes in a small shop. We usually start the day early before it gets too hot out. Gourlaha Street has its own rhythm, and we’re just a part of it. We don't really do much advertising. Most people find us because they know someone who knows us. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it’s kept us going for a long time. It's just us, working away in our little corner of the city. We don't need much else besides a working fan and some good tea to get through the day.
