Project

We are located in the H.R.B.C. Housing Estate, specifically in the H.I.T Quarters at Block-26. It’s one of those big estates where all the buildings look the same if you aren't used to them. Our space is tucked away inside, so it’s usually quiet except for the neighbors walking by. There’s a lot of concrete and stairs. We’ve been here for a bit now, and the room is filled with old blueprints and notebooks. It’s not the kind of place you’d find in a magazine. It’s just an office where we manage our projects. The lighting is a bit dim in the hallways, but we have good lamps on our desks. Most of the time we are just checking lists or talking on the phone to contractors. Being in the quarters means we see the same people every day. It feels more like a neighborhood than a business district. Sometimes we have to move boxes around just to find a place to sit. We don't have a receptionist or anything fancy. If the door is open, you just walk in and say hello. It gets humid in the monsoon season, and the files start to feel a bit damp. We just keep working through it. It’s a very local way of doing things. No one wears a suit here. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay organized in our own way without any fuss.
