Private Firm

We operate out of 35Sd, Hidaram Baner Jee Lane in Kolkata. The area code is Kol-12. This is an old part of the city, and the lanes can be very narrow and crowded. Private Firm is the name we use. Our building, 35Sd, is one of those traditional structures you see all over this part of Kolkata. It’s not always easy to find us if it’s your first time coming here. There is no parking for big cars, so most of us use the local buses or walk from the main road. The humidity in the summer can be quite a lot, and we just have basic fans to keep the air moving. It’s a busy neighborhood with people shouting and tea stalls on every corner. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall. We just show up every morning and get through the work. The office is a bit cluttered with papers and old furniture, but we know where everything is. It’s a real, living space, not some sterile corporate office. Sometimes the neighbor's kids play in the lane outside our window. We’ve stayed here because it’s central and we like the local atmosphere. Kolkata has a way of growing on you, even with all the noise. We are just a regular business doing our thing in a crowded corner of the city.
