If you know the area around Kolkata 700001, you know it’s one of those places where every inch of space is used for something. Bonfield Lane is narrow and always packed with people and vendors, which gives it a lot of life but also makes it a bit of a challenge to navigate sometimes. Once you get up to the first floor, though, it’s a bit more manageable. Our office is a simple one, nothing too fancy, just enough room for the team to sit and handle the property listings and legal bits that come with the job. We have been here for a bit, so we’ve gotten used to the noise from the lane below. It’s a very grounded way to work, being right in the thick of the commercial district. We spend a lot of time on the phone or meeting with people who wander in after seeing our sign. The walls are lined with folders and there’s usually a bit of dust because of the location, but that’s just how it is. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. We just do the property work that needs doing and try to stay on top of the local market trends. It’s a busy, unpretentious place to run a business like ours, and we focus on getting the details right every single day.
