Down in Kolkata, specifically at 158 Regent Estate in Jadavpur, you’ll find our Premco Rail Engineers Limited office. This one is more of a city-based spot where we handle a lot of the planning for our railway projects. Jadavpur is a lively area, and being tucked away in Regent Estate gives us a bit of a quiet place to work compared to the main roads. We deal with all sorts of rail engineering challenges from here. The office is usually filled with stacks of papers and maps of the local rail lines. It’s a lot of coordination between the different teams and making sure we have the right parts for the jobs. We don't really do the fancy executive stuff; it’s more about the practical side of keeping the tracks in good shape. Kolkata is a big city with a lot of history in its rail system, and we feel like a small part of that. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit overwhelming, but we manage to stay on top of it. The guys here have a lot of experience and they don't mind getting their hands dirty when they have to leave the office for the field. It’s just how we operate. We’ve been here at this address for quite some time now, and we’ve become part of the neighborhood in a way. It’s a busy place but we like the pace of things here in Jadavpur.
