We're tucked away on the 5th floor of the Continental Chambers building. The address is 15A, Hemanta Basu Sarani. If you know the area, it's pretty busy and there’s always something going on in the streets below. Pratap Gr0Up Of Industries is what’s written on the door. It’s an older building, and sometimes the elevator takes a while to get up to us, so some of us just take the stairs if we’re in a rush. The office isn't anything special to look at. We’ve got desks piled with papers and some old filing cabinets that have seen better days. It’s mostly just a place where we handle the paperwork for the various industrial bits we manage. It can get a bit loud with the traffic outside, but we’re used to it by now. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at spreadsheets. It's not the kind of place where people come to hang out. We come in, do the administrative work, and try to keep everything organized. Kolkata gets humid, so the fans are always going. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything. It’s just a handful of us trying to make sure the business side of the industries stays on track. We've been in this spot for years and know all the tea stalls nearby. We just do our work and go home.
