Prakash Packers & Movers

Our office is on the first floor of house number five on Anil Roy Road. It’s right near Sarat Bose Road, so it stays fairly noisy outside with all the traffic and people walking by. Being packers and movers means our space is usually full of tape, brown paper, and stacks of cardboard boxes. We don’t have much room for fancy decorations because the boxes take up most of the floor. It’s a small team here. Most of the time, the guys are out at a customer's house wrapping furniture or carrying heavy trunks down narrow staircases. When we are back at the office, we’re mostly just answering the phone or fixing the schedules for the next day. Sometimes the elevator in the building is temperamental, so we end up using the stairs a lot. It’s hard work, and your back definitely feels it by the end of the week. We’ve been in this part of town for a bit now. We know the shortcuts around the neighborhood which helps when the roads get blocked. It’s not a glamorous business, just honest labor. We use a lot of bubble wrap and sturdy tape. Sometimes things get hectic when three people want to move on the same Saturday morning. We just try to manage the trucks and the labor as best as we can. It’s a simple operation really. No big marketing department, just us and our packing supplies here in the office, trying to keep things organized.
