N. R. Industries

Our shop, N. R. Industries, is located at 29/1 Andul Road in Howrah. This is a very busy part of the city with a lot of heavy traffic and industry. We have been operating from this location for many years now. The workshop itself is a bit dark and smells like iron and old oil. That is just the nature of the work we do here. We focus on basic metal fabrication and making small industrial parts. My father was the one who started this place, and I took over from him about ten years ago. We have a few local workers who have been with us for a long time. The machines we use are quite old and require a lot of maintenance, but they are reliable. Andul Road can be a real headache with all the trucks, so we usually try to get our big deliveries done very early in the morning before the sun gets too hot. We don't have a website or any social media pages. Most people who need our services just walk through the gate because they have seen our sign or heard about us from someone else. We spend our days cutting metal, welding, and grinding. It is hard, physical work and it can get very hot inside during the summer months. We usually sit outside on some old stools for our tea breaks. It is just a simple, hardworking shop where we do what we know best.
