Down in the Jadavpur area of Kolkata, at 7 Santipally, is where we keep our office. If you know the neighborhood, it is a pretty typical spot for a local business like ours. We focus on Planning&Construction. That means we spend half our time looking at drawings and the other half dealing with bricks and cement. It is not a clean job. There is usually dust on the desks and blueprints rolled up in every corner. We have been working out of this Kolkata location for several years now. The humidity in this city can make building work quite tricky sometimes, but we have learned how to handle it over the years. We are not a big company with a hundred employees. We are just a small team of local guys. We don't have a fancy mission statement or anything like that. We just show up in the morning, have some tea, and get to work. Sometimes things go wrong on a site and we have to spend the whole day fixing it. That is just how construction goes. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We build things and we plan how they should be built. It is practical work for practical people. The neighbors at Santipally see us coming and going every day. We are just part of the local scene here, trying to do a decent job for a fair price.
