This construction business is something that has been around the family for a long time. Suresh Baran Pradhan runs things now and he learned everything from his father, Sukhendu Bikash Pradhan. That is the name you will see on a lot of our old documents and records. Construction is a lot of hard work and it isn't always clean or organized. We spend most of our time out where the actual building is happening, so this office is mostly for the boring stuff like permits and payroll. It’s not a polished place with glass walls. It’s more like a room with some heavy tables and stacks of blueprints that have been rolled up for months. We don't really have a marketing team or anyone to make us look fancy. People mostly know the Pradhan name because of the work done in the past. When you come by, you might see Suresh busy on the phone or checking some numbers on a notepad. It’s a simple way of running Pkg Construction (P) Ltd. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just build things and try to make sure they stay standing. The office reflects that. It is practical and a bit worn down around the edges, but it serves its purpose. We keep the history of the family in mind while we handle the new jobs that come our way. It’s just how we operate.
