Our office for Photosystems India Pvt Ltd is located on the 3rd floor of the E-Mall, which everyone around here calls Magnet House. It’s at 6 Chittaranjan Avenue, a very busy part of the city. Being on the third floor means we’re a bit away from the street-level chaos, but you can still hear the horns honking down on Chittaranjan Avenue if the windows are open. The mall has a lot of electronics and tech shops, so we fit right in. Our space is filled with photography equipment and systems, often in boxes waiting to be shipped out or set up. It’s more of a functional workspace than a showroom. The elevator in Magnet House can be a bit slow during the lunch hour, so we often end up taking the stairs. We’ve been operating out of this mall for a good while and have seen many other shops come and go. It’s a professional environment but we keep things relaxed. We don't wear suits or anything like that. We’re usually just in our shirtsleeves, testing gear or talking to clients on the phone. The lighting in the mall is that typical fluorescent kind, and we’ve got posters of cameras on the walls. It’s a dedicated spot for people who actually care about the technical side of photos. We just do our thing and let the work speak for itself.
