Pba Clearing Agent

Our office is on Rani Branch Road in the Paikpara area. It is an older part of Kolkata and the building reflects that history. As clearing agents, we don't spend all our time sitting behind a desk. Much of the day is spent traveling to various government offices or the port to get papers signed and cleared. When we are at the office, it is usually to catch up on the filing or to take calls from clients asking about their goods. The room is filled with tall cupboards full of documents from years of work. It is not a very modern setup, but we have a system that works for us. We don't use any complicated software, just a lot of pens and paper and the occasional use of the computer. The neighborhood is a bit busy, and there is always something going on outside on the road. We have a few staff members who have been with us for a long time and they know the clearing process inside and out. It is a lot of waiting for approvals and dealing with bureaucracy, which can be tiring. We don't put up any big advertisements or try to look bigger than we are. We are just a local agent doing our job in the 700002 zip code. Most of our clients come to us through word of mouth because they know we have been around for a long time.
