Poonam Electricals

We've been here at No. 18 Parsee Church Street for quite a while now. If you know where Poddar Court is, we are right across from there. It's a busy area but we like the energy. Poonam Electricals is just a regular place where we handle electrical stuff every day. Most of the time we are busy with orders or talking to people who walk in off the street. The shop isn't huge, but it's full of things people need for their homes or projects. We don't really do big fancy ads. People just find us by word of mouth or because they are walking past Poddar Court and see our sign. It gets a bit dusty with all the street traffic, but that's just how it is around here. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it is quiet enough to sit and have a tea. We try to keep things simple. If someone needs a part or has a question about a wire or a light, we just deal with it right then. My desk is usually covered in papers and catalogs. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is. Being on Parsee Church Street means we see all sorts of different people. It’s a good spot for a business like ours. We just keep our heads down and do the work. Nothing too complicated about it. We’ve stayed right here while the neighborhood changed.
