We are on the ground floor at 177B Park Street in Kolkata. It’s a very busy spot right by the Park Circus 7 Point Crossing. If you have ever been there, you know how crazy the traffic is. There are always buses and taxis honking. Our shop has a big glass front so we can see everyone walking by. Inside, we have a lot of things for the house. It’s a bit crowded with furniture and decorative items. We have been here for a good while. The floor is tile and we try to keep it clean, but with all the people coming in from the street, it’s hard. Kolkata is a humid place, so we usually have the fans going full blast. We don't have a big marketing team or anything. It is just a family-run kind of place where we show people what we have in stock. Sometimes we sit near the door to catch a breeze. The crossing outside is always a mess, but it brings a lot of people past our window. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. We just sell stuff for homes and try to keep things simple. Park Street is a famous road, but our corner feels more like a regular neighborhood spot. We just open up, drink our chai, and talk to whoever walks in.
