Pantaloon Retail(India) Ltd

This branch is tucked away in the Sarat Chandra Colony, right near the airport. We are actually set up at Sri Saktipada Mukherjee's place. It’s a bit of a trek to find if you aren't from around Rajbari Colony. We use this space for the Pantaloon business stuff in this part of Kolkata. Jogananda Ashram is the big landmark nearby, so that’s what we tell people when they get lost. It’s a quiet enough street most days, though you can hear the planes taking off sometimes. Inside, it's pretty basic. We have our files, some computers, and a lot of lists to go through. It isn't some high-rise corporate office. It's more like a house turned into a workspace. We drink a lot of chai and try to stay on top of the retail orders. The weather in Kolkata can be tough, especially when it rains and the lanes get a bit muddy. But we've been here long enough to know the shortcuts and how to manage. Being near the airport is handy for some things, even if the traffic on the main road is a headache. We just do our bit every day. There’s always someone coming or going with a delivery or a message. It's a busy little corner of the world. We stay busy and don't worry about much else. Just regular folks doing retail work in a regular house. That's the whole story.
