Barsha Hosiery

If you go past Banitirtha School in Sarada Pally, you’ll find Barsha Hosiery. We are located in the Purba Panchpota area. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it stays relatively quiet compared to the main roads. We have a small setup where we handle various types of knitwear and undergarments. The sound of the stitching machines is pretty constant throughout the day. We aren't a big factory; it's more of a local unit where we do the cutting and sewing. The rooms are often filled with stacks of fabric and finished pieces ready for packing. We don't have a showroom. Most of our stuff goes straight to the local markets or distributors who come to pick it up. We’ve been at this address for quite some time, and the neighbors are used to us being here. Sometimes we have a few extra hands helping out when there’s a big order to finish before the weekend. It’s not always perfectly organized, and sometimes we have to search for a specific thread color, but we get the job done. We don't bother with much marketing. People in Sarada Pally know us, and word gets around. It’s just honest work making everyday clothes that people need. We keep the machines oiled and the work moving as best as we can. It’s a simple life running a hosiery business in a quiet corner of town. We really just stay focused on the production each week.
