PACKMAN WORLD

We are right in the middle of Burra Bazar at 202, Rabindra Sarani. If you’ve ever been to this part of town, you know it’s crowded and loud almost all the time. PACKMAN WORLD operates out of this space, and it’s usually packed with boxes and rolls of packaging material. There isn't much room to move around once the morning shipments arrive. We handle all sorts of packing stuff here. It’s a real old-school market vibe. You have to shout sometimes just to be heard over the noise from the street outside. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s just a functional space where we take orders and get things moved out to the customers. The stairs are narrow and the building is old, but it works for us. We’ve been at this location for a while and we know all the tea sellers and other shop owners on Rabindra Sarani. It’s a tough place to work because of the heat and the constant bustle, but there’s a lot of energy too. We just try to stay on top of the inventory and make sure we don’t run out of the basics. Every day is a bit of a scramble to get everything loaded onto the rickshaws and trucks before the market closes up. It’s just how things are done here in the bazaar, nothing more and nothing less.
