Our office for Pace Trexim Llp is situated at 33/1, N. S. Road. We are way up on the 6th floor, right in the middle of the busy Kolkata business district. If you’ve ever walked down N. S. Road, you know how loud and crowded it gets with all the shops and traders. Being in the 700001 zip code means we are in the heart of the old commercial area. Our office is pretty simple, just some desks and computers where we manage our trading and export business. We spend most of our hours looking at prices and talking to transporters. It’s a lot of coordination, making sure things get from the warehouse to the buyer without too many problems. The building is older, so the stairs and the lift have some character, you could say. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, we just want to do our work well and keep our regular clients happy. It’s a bit of a climb to get up here sometimes, but it’s a good spot for keeping an eye on how the market is moving. We have a small staff, and we all know our roles pretty well by now. There is no corporate ladder here, just a group of us sitting in a room getting the work done. It can be stressful when things get backed up at the port, but that is just part of the trade for us.
