Our business is based at 25 D/4 in the Anupama Housing Complex on V.I.P Road in Kolkata. It’s a location that keeps us right in the middle of things. We deal with diesel engines, which is a fairly straightforward but tough trade. The workshop is usually humming with the sound of engines being tested or tools being used. It’s a bit cramped with all the machinery and spare parts we have to keep on hand. We aren't interested in being a big polished corporation. We’re just a group of people who understand how these engines work. If you walk into our place, you’ll probably find us covered in a bit of oil. That’s just part of the job. We handle various types of engines and try to get them back in working order as soon as we can. Being in West Bengal, we see a lot of different clients from all over the region. The paperwork is handled in a small corner of the shop, but the real work happens on the floor. We don't have a fancy mission statement or anything like that. We just fix what's broken. Some days are long, especially when a repair doesn't go as planned. But we just stick with it until the engine is running right again. It’s a practical, hands-on business and we like it that way.
