Orissa Diesel Engine

We’re located in Kolkata, right on VIP Road inside the Anupama Housing Complex. Our specific unit is 30D/14. It’s a busy part of West Bengal, and being near the main road helps with getting parts delivered. We spend our time working on diesel engines. It’s greasy, loud work, but we’ve been doing it for years. Most of our day is spent with tools in hand, trying to get an engine to turn over or fixing a fuel pump. The shop isn't the cleanest place in the world, because engines are messy by nature. We have stacks of parts and old manuals lying around everywhere. People come to us when their machinery breaks down and they need a quick fix. We don't use a lot of corporate talk here. We just look at the engine and tell you what’s wrong. Sometimes it’s a simple fix, other times we have to wait weeks for a specific part to arrive. That’s just how the diesel business goes. The humidity in Kolkata can make the work feel even heavier, but we’re used to it. We aren't a big factory; we’re more of a local spot where the staff knows their way around a wrench. We just keep our heads down and focus on the mechanical stuff. It’s what we’ve done for a long time.
