Orient Pharmaceutical Laboratories

At Orient Pharmaceutical Laboratories, we’ve been operating from 261, M. M. Ghosh Road for quite some time. It’s a familiar street for us, and the building has been our home through many changes in the industry. Inside, it looks like a typical lab—lots of glass bottles, scales, and people in white coats focused on their work. We don't really have a fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet people. Usually, you just walk in and find someone busy with a batch or writing down notes. The work we do is quite repetitive, but it requires a lot of attention. We spend our mornings setting up the equipment and the afternoons checking the results. The neighborhood is a mix of residential and small commercial spots, so it’s relatively quiet compared to the main market roads. We’ve got a small team, and everyone knows their role well. There’s no big corporate hierarchy here. If something needs cleaning, we clean it. If a delivery needs to be checked, we check it. We’ve stayed at this same address because it works for us and our regulars know where to find us. It’s not about being the biggest lab out there; it’s just about doing the job properly every day. We take our tea breaks together and talk about regular stuff, then it’s back to the lab benches. That’s our daily routine and we are used to it.
