Our office is way up on the 9th floor of Everest House, which is located at 46C on J.L. Nehru Road. If you know Kolkata, you know this area is always packed with people and yellow taxis. Everest House is one of those tall buildings that’s been around for a long time. We are in room R-9E. The view from the window is actually pretty good, you can see quite a bit of the city, though the glass is usually a bit dusty. We’ve been operating out of this space for quite a few years now. It’s a typical office setup—old filing cabinets, some creaky wooden desks, and a couple of computers that have seen better days. We handle the industrial side of things, mostly dealing with orders and managing the logistics of what we produce. It’s not a very quiet place because you can always hear the elevators running and people talking in the hallway. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate logos plastered everywhere. We just come in, do our work, and head home like everyone else. The staff has stayed mostly the same for a long time, so we’re like a small family here. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay on top of the paperwork, even when it piles up. It’s just a regular business in a busy part of the city.
