We are located at 225D A J C Bose Road. This is one of those major roads in Kolkata that never seems to stop moving. The flyover is right nearby, so there is always the sound of cars and buses passing by. Oplk Estates Llp is situated in a building that houses a lot of other businesses too. Our office is a simple place where we manage our estate work. We have some big windows, but we usually keep the blinds pulled to block out the harsh afternoon sun. The interior is just basic office furniture—some chairs that have been around for years and a big table where we spread out our documents. We spend a lot of time looking at local property trends and chatting with people who are interested in the area. It’s a lot of routine work, like updating our lists and making sure the files are in the right place. We usually have a pot of tea going in the afternoon to help us get through the last few hours of the day. It’s a busy spot to be in, but it keeps us connected to what’s happening in the city. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles here, just a regular place where we show up and do our jobs. Most of the time, the building elevator is crowded, so we have to wait a while or walk up.
