Nrb Bearing Ltd

Our office is on the 2nd floor of Gupta Court, over at 7A/1B Midleton Row. It’s an old building with a lot of character, which is a polite way of saying the stairs are steep and the plumbing is old. Nrb Bearing Ltd is tucked away here, away from the main noise of the street but still in the middle of everything. We deal with bearings, which aren't the most exciting things to talk about, but they are pretty important for making things move. Our office is usually quiet, except for the sound of the phones. We have a lot of ledgers and catalogs because sometimes the old-fashioned way of looking things up is just faster. We aren't a high-tech startup; we’re just a bunch of people who know their way around mechanical parts. We spend a lot of time talking to factory managers and mechanics who are looking for a specific size or type of bearing. Sometimes it takes a while to find the right part in the warehouse, but we get there eventually. We take our lunch breaks together and talk about the news or the weather. It’s a very normal, low-key kind of place. We don't have any big slogans or fancy mission statements. We just try to make sure that when someone needs a bearing, we can find it for them. It’s a steady job and we’ve been doing it in this same spot for a good while now.
