Our shop, Jak 'N' Jil Kidswear, is at No.26/1A Northern Avenue. It’s a place filled with clothes for children of all ages. We’ve got racks and shelves everywhere, and sometimes it feels a bit cramped, but that’s because we try to keep a lot of variety. It’s a local shop where parents from the neighborhood come to pick out things for their kids. We aren't a big chain store. We’re just a small spot on the avenue. We spend our time folding clothes, talking to moms and dads, and trying to keep the place organized. It’s not always easy when kids are running around, but we enjoy the energy. We pick out the clothes we think people will actually like and use. It’s about being practical and having things that last. We’ve been here for some years now. You’ll usually see us at the counter or helping someone find a specific size. Northern Avenue is a good place for a shop like ours. We don't do much advertising. People just see the window display and come in. It’s a simple, honest business. We just want to provide decent clothes for the little ones without making it complicated. We’ve seen many kids grow up over the years through their clothing sizes. It’s just a nice, normal way to spend the day. We try to keep prices fair and the stock fresh for whoever walks in.
