N.J. Silk Fabric

We are N.J. Silk Fabric and our shop is located at 177 / B C.R. Avenue. This place has been our base for a long time and it is filled from floor to ceiling with rolls of fabric. C.R. Avenue is always busy and full of life which makes the days go by fast. Our space at 177 / B is a bit tight especially when a new shipment of silk arrives and we have to stack it all up. We do not have any fancy displays or a big marketing budget. Most of our work is just sorting through the different colors and textures of the silk to make sure everything is right for the people who come in. The walls are a little yellowed from age and the lighting isn't the brightest but we know every inch of this place. We sit at an old wooden desk near the front to handle the accounts and talk to the people who stop by. It feels like home to us after all these years. There is a small tea stall just a few doors down where we get our morning chai. It is a very local way of doing things. We just try to keep the business going one day at a time without making a big fuss about it. That is just who we are at N.J. Silk Fabric. The street outside never sleeps but we are comfortable in our little corner.
