We are Nitya Electrical Contractors Pvt. Ltd., and you can find us at 6/1/1A Ahiritola 1St Lane in Kolkata. Our office is right there in the heart of Kolkata 05. It is a busy part of town, very traditional and full of life. We have been working out of this lane for a long time. It isn't a huge space, but it’s ours. We handle a lot of different electrical jobs, and there’s always something to fix or plan. Our desks are usually covered in drawings or schedules. We aren't the type of people who sit in long meetings all day. We’d rather be out seeing to the work or getting the supplies ready. The building is older, which we don't mind. It has a bit of soul to it. We know the neighbors, and they know us. Sometimes the power goes out in the area, which is ironic given what we do, but we just deal with it like everyone else. We don’t have a fancy website or a PR person. What you see is what you get. Just a bunch of guys who know their way around a fuse box and a circuit. We take the bus or walk to work. We talk about the local football scores while we have our tea. It’s a very normal, very local way of running a business. We stay busy and we stay grounded.
