Our place is over at 82 Incinerator Road in Gorabazar, Dum Dum. Being in Kolkata, specifically near the airport area, means we are always surrounded by the sounds of planes and heavy trucks. Nissin Abc Logistics Pvt Ltd operates out of this office where we manage various shipping and transport tasks. The area of Gorabazar is quite old and has a lot of character, but the roads can be a bit tight for the big trailers. Inside the office, it’s mostly the sound of keyboards clicking and the occasional fan humming to keep the humidity away. We don't have any polished corporate decor. It’s a working office with maps on the wall and piles of waybills on the desks. We handle the logistics for a lot of different items coming in and out of West Bengal. Sometimes the monsoon rains make everything a bit difficult, especially when the roads flood, but we try to keep the shipments moving as best as we can. Our staff has been around for a while, so we know the local routes and the shortcuts that help avoid the worst of the Dum Dum traffic. We usually start early in the morning and stay until the last truck is accounted for. It’s a steady pace of work. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there; we just want to make sure the work we do is done right.
