It can get a bit stressful when a container is delayed or the weather is bad, but we’ve learned to take it in stride. Our desks are usually covered in files and ledgers because we still like to keep track of things on paper as much as on the computer. There are no fancy lounges or anything like that here; it’s just a place where people sit down and do their work. Most of us have been in the export business for years, so we’ve seen how things have shifted over time. We just try to stay on top of the details and make sure things get where they’re supposed to go. It’s steady work, and we’re glad to be part of the local business community here, even if the monsoon rains sometimes make the commute to Shakespeare Sarani a bit of a challenge.
