Kolkata is where we are, specifically over at Managalam Park. Our office is in Flat No. B-Iv/201. It’s right on Ho-Chin-Minh Sarani, which is quite a famous street in these parts. If you know the city, you know how crowded it gets around here. Working in an apartment flat gives the place a different feel than a big office building. We deal with adhesives, so there’s often that faint smell of glue or chemicals in the air. It’s not a bad smell, just part of the job. Most of us have been working here for years. We know the security guards at the gate and the delivery guys who bring the mail. Lunchtime is usually spent sharing food from home. The kitchen in the flat is small, but it works for making tea. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just trying to do our part and get the orders out to the people who need them. Ho-Chin-Minh Sarani has a lot of history, and we like being part of this neighborhood. The traffic outside can get really loud with the honking, especially in the afternoons. Sometimes we have to close the windows just to hear each other talk. It’s a busy life in Kolkata, and we are right in the middle of it. We keep our records in metal cabinets and try to stay on top of the inventory.
