New Swasti Clinic Welfare Society is located on the ground floor at 28/1 A, Nakuleswar Bhattacharya Lane in Kalighat. It’s a bit of a quiet lane, but we stay pretty busy with the local residents. The building is an older one, which is common for this part of Kalighat, so the rooms have that high-ceiling feel. We set this place up to help the people in the area, and it’s become a bit of a hub for folks who need a quick consultation or some basic medical advice. It’s not a shiny new facility; it’s a functional space with wooden benches and old-fashioned fans. We keep a lot of records in big ledgers and folders, and you’ll often see someone at the desk writing things down by hand. It’s got a very local feel to it, and the neighbors often pop their heads in just to say hello. Sometimes the wait can be a little long because we like to take our time talking to everyone. The street outside is narrow, so it’s mostly people walking in rather than driving. We’ve got a small sign out front so you don't miss us.
