Our office for Simpson & Munro (india) Pvt. Ltd. is located on the 6th Floor, Room No. 1, inside the New India Assurance Building. Being up on the sixth floor gives us a bit of a view, though we’re usually too busy with paperwork to look out the window much. It’s a professional building, so there are always people in the elevators and hallways. Our specific room is tucked away at the end. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of cabinets for all the insurance documents we manage. We’ve been here for a good while, and the space feels lived-in. There’s a bit of a hum from the air conditioning and the computers. We handle various bits of insurance business throughout the day. People come up to see us when they have specific issues to resolve. It’s a quiet environment for the most part, which helps when you have to concentrate on fine print. We don't have any big posters or marketing displays. We just have what we need to get through the files. We usually have a thermos of tea to keep us going through the afternoon. It’s a solid, reliable place to work. We just show up, do the tasks for the day, and head out when the building starts to quiet down in the evening. The shared lobby downstairs is always a good place to see what is happening in the building.
