E.H. Taher Co.

We operate out of 69 A Netaji Subhas Road, inside Gupta Mansion. It’s one of those older buildings that has a lot of character, though the stairs can be a bit of a climb. Being in this part of the city means we are surrounded by a lot of history and a lot of other small businesses. E.H. Taher Co. has been around for a while, and we’ve stayed in this spot because it just works for us. The hallways are narrow and it gets quite busy during the middle of the day. We don't have much use for modern minimalist decor. Our office is full of ledgers, old files, and the usual gear we need for our daily trade. It’s a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. The noise from the street carries up, so there is always a hum of activity. We aren't a big corporation with departments for everything. It’s just a few of us handling the orders and talking to people who walk in. We prefer it this way. It’s direct and there’s no fluff. Sometimes we have to move boxes around just to find a place to sit, but that’s just how it goes in an old building like Gupta Mansion. We don't feel the need to change much as long as the work keeps coming in. It’s a steady pace and we like it. We know most of the other shopkeepers in the building.
