Asian Electricals

We are located on Netaji Subhas Road, up on the fourth floor in Room Number 40. This is right in the Bara Bazar area, specifically near Tijori Patty. If you know this part of town, you know it is incredibly tight and busy. Getting up to the fourth floor can be a bit of a workout since the lift doesn't always want to cooperate. The building is old and has a lot of character, or at least that's what we call it when the plaster starts to peel. Our room is packed with electrical components and boxes everywhere. We don't have much space to walk around, so you have to be careful where you step. It’s a lot of dusty ledgers and phone calls to suppliers. The noise from the street below never really stops, so we’ve learned to talk over the honking and the shouting of the market. We take our lunch breaks right at our desks because there isn't really a break room. Usually, it's just someone bringing in some food from one of the stalls downstairs. We’ve been in this same spot for years, and while it’s a bit of a climb to get here, it’s home for us. We just handle the orders and try to keep things moving in the middle of all the chaos of the bazaar. It is a messy way to work but we are used to the pace by now.
