D. K. Enterprise

D. K. Enterprise is at Shop No. 488 on Rabindra Sarani. We are right across the street from the Raviprakashan Book Store. It’s an old part of the city, and the street is always full of people and carts. Our shop is quite small, but we manage to fit everything we need inside. We’ve got shelves lining the walls and a small counter where we sit. Most of the day is spent talking to people who come in looking for specific items. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy, just the shop number. The bookstore across the way is a good landmark for people trying to find us. It gets very crowded on the sidewalk out front, especially in the evenings. We usually have the radio playing quietly in the background. It’s a lot of repetitive work, checking the stock and helping customers, but we like the routine. The building is old, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for us. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for the rush to start. It’s just a normal shop on a very busy street. We know the other shopkeepers around here, and we all just try to get through the day. It’s a simple life, and the shop is where we spend most of our time.
