You can find National Auto Agency right on Sevoke Road, very close to the Amardeep Hotel. This road is always packed with vehicles, which I suppose is good for a business like ours. We sell all sorts of automotive parts and accessories, and our shop is usually a bit of a mess with boxes waiting to be opened. The shelves are packed tight, and sometimes things spill over onto the floor, but we manage to keep track of it all. We have a few old chairs near the front where customers can sit and wait while we dig through the back for a specific part. It is not a fancy setup at all. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the ceiling fan makes a bit of a clicking noise, but it gets the job done. We are just local people serving the local community. Many of the drivers who pass through Siliguri stop here because they know we have been around for a long time. We do not spend money on big signs or glossy brochures. Our reputation is mostly built on the fact that we stay open late and usually have the parts people are looking for. We deal with all kinds of folks, from truck drivers to people with small scooters. It is a long day’s work, but we like the pace of it and the chance to talk to different people every day. We just try to keep things simple and honest.
