Nathani International

Nathani International is located on the first floor of Ambassador Apartments. That’s at 61-A, Park Street. If you’ve been to Park Street, you know how busy it is. There’s always something happening right outside the door. We spend a lot of time looking out at the street when things get quiet inside. Being on the first floor is handy because you don’t have to wait for the lift forever. The office has a very lived-in feel to it. We have files and papers in stacks because that is just how things go. It is a practical space, not a showroom. We’ve had the same furniture for years and it works just fine for us. There is a little kitchen area where we make tea. The windows are old and sometimes they rattle when a big truck goes by. It feels like home after so many years. People come in and out, and there is always a bit of chatter. We don't try to impress anyone with expensive lights or marble floors. It’s a workplace in a very old, very busy part of the city. We like the energy of Park Street. Ambassador Apartments has its own history too. You can feel it in the hallways. We just do our thing here every day from morning until the sun goes down and the street lights come on. It is noisy and crowded but it is where we belong.
