Unique Glass Supply Co.

If you head down Narkeldanga Main Road to number 141, that’s where you’ll find us. Unique Glass Supply Co. has been operating out of this spot for a good while. It’s a busy road, so there’s always noise from the traffic outside our front door. Inside, it’s mostly just stacks of glass sheets and various cutting tools. Handling glass is a tricky business, you have to be careful every single day or something breaks. We don’t have a big showroom with lights and displays. It’s more of a warehouse feel where we do the cutting and the edging. Most days we are covered in glass dust and wearing heavy gloves. We supply a lot of the local shops and builders who need specific sizes. It isn't the cleanest job, and the floor is usually covered in small scraps that we have to sweep up constantly. We don’t spend money on advertising or anything like that. People usually find us because they need glass and they know we are on the main road. The building is old and could probably use a coat of paint, but it works for what we do. We just measure the pieces, cut them to what’s needed, and load them up. It’s a basic operation. We don’t pretend to be more than a local glass shop. Just showing up and doing the work is what keeps us going. Usually, we just close up when the work is done.
