We are located in Calcutta, specifically in the Golf Green area which is a pretty nice part of the city. Our office is actually inside Puja Apartment, in flat B1. It’s on P.G.H. Shah Road. It’s an older building, the kind where you know the neighbors and the security guard by face. Being in a flat makes the work feel a bit more relaxed than being in a big commercial tower. We have our desks set up in the different rooms. It can get a bit humid during the monsoon, and we have the fans going all day. Golf Green is green as the name says, so it’s a bit calmer than the middle of the city. We’ve been here for years. Most people who come to see us are long-time associates. We don’t bother with big signs or advertisements. The address is 58A/1 if you are looking for the gate. It’s just a group of us working on various things, mostly sitting around the main table talking through the day’s tasks. There is a lot of history in these walls. Sometimes we get tea from the stall at the corner and talk about how the city is changing. It’s just a standard Calcutta workspace, nothing more and nothing less. We like the pace here. It’s familiar and comfortable, and it lets us focus on what we have to do without too many distractions.
