M/S Tata Projects Limited

The office is tucked away on Narasingha Avenue in Kolkata. It’s one of those busy streets where there’s always something going on outside the window. We’ve been handling these projects for a good bit now. Most of us take the bus or walk from the nearest stop, and the monsoon rains usually make things a bit messy around the entrance. Inside, it's a lot of phone calls and spreadsheets. We spend most of the morning trying to coordinate with the guys out on the different sites across West Bengal. It’s a lot of coordination, really. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait it out with some chai from the corner shop. It’s not the most glamorous setup, just desks, old computers, and stacks of files that never seem to get smaller. We’ve got a mix of people here, some who’ve been around since the start and some new faces. We don't talk much about big goals or anything, we just focus on whatever task is on the desk today. Whether it's sorting out a supply issue or checking a deadline, it keeps us busy from nine to five. The traffic on the way home is always a nightmare, but that’s just Kolkata for you. We just try to get the work done right so we don't have to redo it later. It's practical stuff, nothing more. We just take it day by day and try to stay cool under the fans.
