M/S Tapas Sarkar

If you are looking for us, M/S Tapas Sarkar is located in the Milan Palli area, specifically in Katjuridanga, Kenduadihi, over in Bankura. It is a local operation through and through. We started out small and we’ve mostly stayed that way because it’s easier to manage things ourselves. We do a lot of general construction and repair work around the Bankura district. The office is basically a room with a desk, some chairs, and a lot of folders full of invoices and site notes. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. Usually, if you call, one of us will pick up while we are out on a job. The weather in West Bengal can be pretty rough on buildings, so we spend a lot of time checking on older structures or helping people build new homes that can stand up to the heat and the rain. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do a decent job so that folks in the neighborhood keep coming back to us when they need something built. Our tools are well-used and our hands are usually dirty from the day's work. It is simple, practical labor. We don't make big promises, we just show up and do the work that was agreed upon. That’s been our way of doing things for quite a while now.
