Our main spot is at 55 Bidhu Bhusan Sengupta Road, right near the Behala Chowrasta area in Kolkata. If you know that part of the city, you know it is always bustling with people and traffic. M/S Tantia Construction Company Ltd. has been operating out of this location for a long time. It’s an old building, but it works for what we need. We handle all sorts of construction tasks from here. The office is usually filled with the sound of fans and people talking about various project timelines. Kolkata is a tricky place to build because of the crowded streets and the humidity, but we’ve learned how to handle it. We have a lot of history in this neighborhood. Our staff is mostly local folks who have been in the construction trade for years. We aren't looking to impress anyone with a polished look. We just want to make sure the foundations are deep and the walls are straight. Sometimes we have to deal with the local rains that flood the streets, which can slow down the work, but we just pick up where we left off once the water clears. There are always blueprints spread out on the tables and samples of stone or tiles lying around. It is a busy, working office where the focus is always on the next task at hand.
