Our spot is over at 6/20 Poddar Nagar in Kolkata. It’s a tight area, and we’ve been here for quite some time now. Greenply Industries is basically what we do every single day. We deal with a lot of wood and boards. If you come by the office, you’ll probably see stacks of samples and brochures everywhere. It’s not the neatest place, but we know where everything is. The humidity in Kolkata can be a real pain for the storage, so we’re always checking on the stock. We talk to a lot of carpenters and shop owners who need stuff for their projects. It's a lot of phone calls and checking delivery trucks. Sometimes the traffic in Poddar Nagar makes everything late, which is frustrating for everyone. We don't have a big fancy lobby. It's just some desks and people working. My tea gets cold while I'm looking at order forms. We've seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but we’re still here doing the same thing. People know us as the plywood guys. It’s straightforward work. We aren't trying to be something we're not. We just supply the materials and try to keep the records straight. Some days are long, especially when a big shipment comes in and we have to sort through everything in the heat. It’s just life at the office. We finish up, lock the door, and head home to do it all again tomorrow.
